Wonderland Christmas Card

What gorgeous trees in this "Wonderland" Stamp Set.
I cased this card from Christy Fulk on Pinterest. I used Blackberry bliss card stock and embossed the image with silver embossing powder. Again I made use of the Snowflake embellishments to hi-light the sentiment, which I layered on brushed silver card stock and popped it up on dimensionals.

Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack

I love the Winter Wonderland Vellum, but I hate to see any adhesive dots showing through, so I'm very careful to adhere this paper under embellishments so the adhesives don't show. This card has a Whisper White card base, vellum layers, Snowflake elements, rhinestones and gold glitter card stock used with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits.

Woodland Textured Impressions Layered Christmas Card

The Woodland Textured Impressions Folder is so very versatile. I cased this card from the very talented Billy Moan here and love how it turned out. Take a look and give it a go, you'll be thrilled with how easy it is to create this card.

Christmas Card - Season Of Cheer DSP

Simple and effective and quick to put together. The "Snow Flake Elements" are a big hit with me, I have used them on many of my cards and tags so far this year. I've used the Triple banner punch, an awesome tool that adds interest to many creations.

4 x 4 Christmas card sets.

I've really enjoyed making these 4 x 4 card sets for friends. I found the card pouch on Split Coast Stampers, the measurements are Cardstock cut at 5" x 11 1/2" scored at 5 1/4" &
6 1/4" and for the inside pockets cut 2 pieces of cardstock 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" scored at 1/4" & 1/2" on one long side and both short sides. Decorate as desired.

Christmas Card - Cup of Cheer

Hi, the "Cup of Cheer" stamp set hasn't shown up in many posts so I wanted to make sure I showed what could be done with this stamp set. This card was inspired by Becky Roberts I've changed it up using Lost Lagoon & Whisper White cardstock, Home for Christmas DSP, Snow Flake Elements and a couple of red sequins. I used the Happy Scenes stamp set to stamp the white cardstock with smokey slate ink. The Merry Christmas is from Holly Jolly Greetings inked with Island Indigo. I stamped the cup twice also in Island Indigo once directly onto the whisper white and then again on a scrap of card and fussy cut it out and mounted it on dimensionals over the the other cup leaving only the steam showing.

Getting back to posting after being away. Butterfly Basics is one of my favourite sets and makes it so easy to create gorgeous cards.

More - Butterfly Basics

Butterfly Basics - One can easily become addicted to this stamp set and matching framelits. I don't seem to be tiring of it at all, I've used up some retired card sets here, it's an absolute doddle to make gorgeous cards.

Stationery Set.

Note a good photo! Far too many shadows, however I love this stationery set I have put together. I've used a Stamp case to hold the set; DSP and cardstock to decorate the case. Some retired card kits on the RH side, changed up with butterfly basics and Painted petals. The LH side has stamped blank sheets for notepaper and tags.

Butterfly Basics

As you will see over my next few posts I have been busy using the Butterfly Basics Stamp set and thinlits. For these three cards I have also used the Painted Bloom DSP and pearls to decorate the card fronts.

3 x Sheltering Tree

I love this beautiful stamp set; "Sheltering Tree" here are three Mothers Day cards made using the set with lots of different colours. I've also used "Crazy about you" and "Sweet Laughter" for the sentiments, along with a few sequins, I seem to be using these a lot lately.

Impressions "Case"

I'm absolutely thrilled with how this card turned out. I "cased" it from our very own "Impressions" publication, page 7. It is show-cased in Impressions as a 3x3 card, I changed it to a standard sized card and added an extra mat to the front, with some washi tape to break it up. The inside features  a Mothers day sentiment, but obviously this card could be used for many different celebrations. The dazzling diamonds glitter really shines out a lot more than the photo shows, really pretty.

Mothers Day

This is one of my favourite creations I was inspired by the many cards I found on Pinterest using hearts on the "Sheltering Tree" for this card I used Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana C/S and inks, Smokey Slate ink and whisper white C/S. My favourite sentiment stamp for Mothers Day is from the "Sweet Laughter" set.

Caterpillar Birthday Card

Easy peasy punch art card, simple but cute and children love it, especially with the "wobbly" eyes. This card is larger than normal 5.75" x 6" so that I could fit in all those circle punches, so I made a really jazzy envelope using the envelope punch board.

Another Moon Lake Card

A gorgeous birthday card using the Moon Lake and the Four Feathers stamp sets. The feathers are stamped and embossed with Lost Lagoon ink and black embossing powder. I sponged the background with Lost Lagoon and stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black. I was inspired to make this card by Billie Moan Here but I have changed it up quite a bit.

Tuesday 24 March 2015

Moon Lake Birthday

I'm pleased with how this card turned out, using only two colours; whisper white and  Lost Lagoon. I was inspired by a card I saw somewhere on the internet, but for the life of me I can't find it again, so apologies to whoever created this card originally.

Rectangle Card in a box.

I was inspired to make this rectangle card in a box by Paula Reid see her gorgeous card Here Paula found a great tutourial on Diane Barnes blog Here My thanks to both of these talented ladies for sharing their creations.
I made this Valentine card for my sister to give to her husband she has been very ill over the past couple of years and to add to her problems had to have a hip replacement two weeks ago, her husband has been her tireless and patient caregiver all of this time.
All the products used except the DSP are from Stampin' Up.

Decorated SU Craft Notebook

This is one of Stampin' Up's Craft notebooks that I've decorated this week. I've used the Scallops textured impressions embossing folder, burnt sugar cardstock and ink for the stamps from Postage Due, a little Washi tape to decorate the spine.

Printers Tray

I really enjoy making up Printers Trays, my brother in-law very kindly made me about 5 different sizes, this is one of the smaller ones. I've used a lot of non Stampin' Up embellishments on this tray to create the effect I was looking for. I'm very pleased with the final result. The bottom 2 photos are a couple of close ups of parts of the tray.
